TO ALL MY STUDENTS "TOLLE LEGE!"

In his confession, St. Augustine shares that the mysterious "Tolle Lege" is what prompted him to read St. Paul's letter to the Romans chapter 13 verses 13 to 14 which eventualy brought him to his conversion.

The same word would then be my invitation to readers; that is to take this blog and read. What I will be posting in this blog are the works of my student which I believe are filled with substance and heart felt reflection. I will also post some of my reflections about my daily encounter with my students and on how thier experiences teach me other unexplored dimensions of life.

To all my students who visited this blog, please find time to check and read the posts I will be posting.

Meribah and Massah
By: 2nd year St. Rita of LCC Bais
and Mr. Rex B. Penuela

Despite of God’s wonders, complain in return is what we offer.
He gives us food, drink, clothing and shelter.
Yet, humility and satisfaction is still out of reach;
Even though in home and class gratitude is what our parents and mentor teach.

We are sorry Lord for these shortcomings;
from this day onward to YOU we offer everything.
Pains, agony, sorrows and suffering;
We will accept with joyful and cheerful feeling.

We are happy that lesson from Exodus today YOU teach us.
Lessons of trust, integrity, and love of God; with these, there’s no problem we cannot surpass.
Thank You is all we can say,
doing your will is what we will do everyday.

From today’s lesson about Meribah and Massah we come know,
That You oh Lord is our companion as on this journey we go.
Worries and sighs we leave behind;
Thank you Lord for you’re so very kind.
Gratitude we keep in our hearts and mind.

THANK YOU.....IN HEAVEN WE WILL SEE YOU!

FROM THE HEART OF A STUDENT

STUDENT'S CORNER

Thanks Mom!
by: Beachy Pearl B. Baldosano

You were the one who taught me,
In evrything I want to be.
Now I realized what I see;
things around are filled with beauty.
THANKS TO THEE...

You made me smile when I am sad.
You made me feel good when i felt bad.
You teach me to pray to God,
for me to feel so glad.

You teach me my love
to reach what is up above.
You said, "reach it like a flying dove."
Mother as I fly it is your love that I have

When someone make me cry,
You make my tears dry.
And so our memories with each other
never die...

When I need you, you alsways come
And I grow up because of your guiding palm.
SO THANKS MOM!!!!!!

TEACHER'S PEN

MOTHER
by: Rex B. Penuela

I.
She is the rainbow that colors my day,
the picture that paints my highway.
Her smiles are treasure to me,
her teachings made me become what I want to be.
Sad to say; she left me early,
yet her leaving left me a message of love that is so dearly.

II.
In times of sorrow,
her message is for a brighter tomorrow.
In the dark periods of this life from God I borrow,
Your love dear mother gives it a glow.
In the life’s ups and downs, high and low,
Way to God to me you show.

III.
One day, seems different from those other,
You have lived me; this time it is forever
From this life, you went to another;
a message of love is what you left for me to remember.

MOTHER, I LOVE YOU...
IN HEAVEN SHALL I SEE YOU!!!
